The classic Cowman game for the TI-83. Patrol the city in your Cowmobile. Fight suspicious looking trash cans. Throw Loaf'O's. Eat Loaf'O's. Be Loaf'O's! No wait... don't be Loaf'O's... go back to fighting crime.

Instructions:

|
Installation: After downloading, use your graphlink to transfer the program to your TI-83. Like all TI-83 programs, Cowman 2 is also compatible with the TI-83+ and TI-83+ Silver.
|
|
Starting up: Press the PRGM button. You should see COWMAN2, ZCBATTLE, and ZCDO. These are all neccesary files. Select COWMAN2 to start the game.
After the game starts you can choose whether you want to read the prologue. Then you can start a new game (selecting continue won't work when you haven't saved a game).

Stats: The first screen you'll see after starting a new game.
|
|
|
Life: How much damage you can take before being defeated.
Defense: Prevents Damage done by enemy attacks.
Strength: Determines how much damage you do to enemies.
Loaf'O's: The multi-purpose item. Throw them to damage enemies, or eat them to heal yourself.
Money: Used for buying more Loaf'O's.
Age: You age every time you fight a battle. This determines when you can fight Super Villains, when you're too old to fight common criminals, and affect how well your Loaf'O's work.
Points: Umm... the most important stat... it uh... it's a secret.
Press enter when you're done looking at your stats.

The "Do What?" Screen: The hub for the rest of the game.
|
|
Press a number and then press enter to choose an option. "Look for Crime" is a good place to start.
1:Look for Crime: Patrol the city to fight regular criminals, gain experience, and gain money.
2:Fight a Boss: Defeating all the Super Villain crime bosses of the city is your ultimate goal, but you'll have to practice on regular criminals first.
3:Get Some Rest: You're automatically healed after every battle, but you'll need rest if you sit on a tack or get a mail bomb.
4:Order Loaf'O's: Spend your cash on this all-purpose item.
5:View Status: See your current stats.
6:Save Game: Save your current progress.You can only have one game saved at a time.

Oddities:
Being from a bygone era, this game carries a few relics of the past.
--The game predates TheHeroShop.com, and is attributed to The "Loaf"O' Factory"
--The game claims that Cowman is fighting crime in "Gothic City," but we all know that that's just the way old timers say "Blackring City."
--The previous game, Cowman 1 was actually a mod of Harvey's "Batman" game. Both the mod and the copyright violation were lost to the sands of time... or the erase data function.
